Sheriff Gun Permits

Home/Community Relations/Sheriff Gun Permits

Beginning in April 2009, the Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Department started an outreach program for county residents seeking to obtain or renew their gun permits. They were able to create several new satellite sites throughout the county. The Murrysville Police Department has agreed to host one of those sites every month. Residents may visit the Municipal Building between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 4100 Sardis Road, Murrysville and a representative will be available to process your permit in the Council Chambers.
