Winter Wonderlab |

What's even colder than the North Pole? Dry Ice! The wonders of Dry Ice are on display as we demonstrate the different properties of the three common states of matter. We make a quarter shiver, turn water to ice in 30 seconds, and witness an indoor fireworks show. Children will see a variety of spectacular "bubbling potions" and participate in fascinating experiments using Dry Ice! Each child will make their own Sparkly Slime to take home! |

Mud, Sticks, and Sunshine: Winter Persistence |
Class Details:
This winter, we focus on persistence— the ability to stick with something, meet challenges, and push ahead to reach our goals, learn, and grow. Each lesson is inspired by a different, persistent animal superhero. Kids will get the physical and mental benefits of increased time outdoors and build a lasting connection to nature. Mud, Sticks, and Sunshine is a small parent-child nature play class using Tinkergarten curriculum for children ages 18 months to 8 years old. It is designed to provide families with fun and educational activities that encourage exploration, problem solving, teamwork, and creativity. Along the way parents will earn about child development and the importance of both free play and time spent outdoors.
